LET THE MADNESS BEGIN!

Well, I started on orders today, and as a lot of you reading this know I attended a deployment ceremony this evening! First off, I want to thank EVERYONE that attended, and I know I must have had 50 or more people that were there for me! You know, I like attention, but there are sometimes when you can't believe how much people are in your life that truly care about you until they are all together! Cool site!
I do, however, want to single out a couple, only because it shows you the effect on people when they deploy!
Bill and Laroe Wolfe showed up at the ceremony, they are my aunt and uncle through my wife Missy! Well for those who don't know, Bill has retired and lives on Utila Island in Honduras, and is in the process of building their retirement home, and Laroe is just retiring in Dallas, and is about to head over there! Well, Bill flew in from HON frickin DURAS just to see my family tonite! Cool as hell! Also, Kate Hudak, who is my brothers girlfriend goes to Hilton Head over the holidays to visit her parents, and she cut it short and flew home for tonite! Top Notch!
Keep in mind they knew nothing about this til yesterday, so hats off to them for the effort! Everybody that came means the same to me, but those are 2 things that touched me!
I also did interviews w/ channel 29, and 11 for their news tonite, and we hurried hame to watch the results of the piece! They did a great job on editing, and the kids liked seeing themselves on TV! Both stories talked about Missy being pregnant, and the effects of me being gone!
Anyways, 3 more days til I leave, so I had better get some rest!
Thanks for the cards, phone cards, gift cards, and Bible! And thanks to God for all the people that care for me and my family!
