HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Just a quick note to let everyone know it is the Army's 230th birthday today, so have a piece a cake for us! Well, I had 2! Other than that we have just been getting ready for upcoming missions, as everyone on our team is back here at Victory and all the NC people are getting close to leaving. It will be sad to see some of them go, but good to get the crowd away from here! We are getting claustriphobic in this office! We will enjoy the rest of the time though, and I will miss my soldiers, but they have to get home and join the rest of the world! Besides, they have been here longer than I, so time to move on!
We had a sandstorm for it seems like 4 to 5 days straight here, and it wasn't the worst, but it was constant! Hot, and dry though, like you would imagine in the desert.
Thanks for all the support, and we will keep driving on here!
By the way, Madison is in the Strawberry festival pageant, and she is doing great in the process, I guess she really enjoys it! I wish I was there for it, but she said she doesn't care if she loses, but wants to win so she can be in the parade! I guess we should tell her she gets candy for being in the audience! I am proud of her, and glad she is having fun!
