Sleep!!
Well,I finally got some sleep last night and felt great this morning! So now we trudge on with the mission at hand this week which is the Surgeon conference, and for everyone that has been reading my posts for awhile you know I HATE the conferences. It is a dog and pony show for all the bootlickers that want to salivate with the general and others of rank! Oh well, at least it gives us something to do!
Other than that I actually paid for a Flickr.com membership today, and that pretty much gives me tons more pictures to upload per month! So I put up some more, so go take a look at them! Also, sorry I haven't updated my Latrine site, as for some dang reason in Iraq they are starting to spray paint all the good messages! Oh well, I won't forget about it!
In other news, I really want to address an anonymous comment on yesterdays post that didn't so much bother me, as much as prove the point of people who are afraid to speak up for themselves, and then back it up with a name! I am not mad, but this commenter said that a comment I had made on a site that was run by an admitted communist, and other things or something like that, and that I have stooped to the level of being a zealot for our goverment in the things I had said! I want to address this, because 1st of all I don't know what I said, and what site it was, so I can't answer that attack! 2nd thing is that it must not have been voicepotential.org because they would have read in that interview that I don't care what they think, but don't critiscize my opinions, because they are subjective! And one thing that I was shocked in that comment was they said that we should wake up and start fighting for freedoms that have been taken away from us! OK, you spoiled brat, what freedoms have been taken away? And if you think your freedom is limited, then go elsewhere. Help the cause, don't sit and make whiny comments about it! What are YOU physically doing besides leaving commments on peoples sites! And when you leave your comments from now on include solutions! I gave you one. If you don't like the things you have in our country, there are plenty of places to go!
Anyways, I wanted to bring that up, and they wanted to leave the comment anonymous so I would not be mad! Well, hiding makes me mad, but I will always give second chances!
I know these type posts are boring for a lot of you, but a lot of times I joke about things, but I can't do it all the time! Well, most of the time! Maybe I will put another post up later on to "lighten" the mood!

Erik, whoever this anonymous person is apparently has nothing better to do. I had someone leave an anonymous comment on my blog, and it was horrible, so I decided to just delete it. These people need to get a life. Hope you have a good day.

I'd like to comment on the "freedoms taken away"...although I'm not entirely sure what Anon. was speaking to, I think we need to remember that we live in a very different world post 9/11 and maybe, just maybe we're getting closer to be a bit more secure nation through scrutiny at airports, train stations and the like.
Found you through another's blog, and just wanted to add my voice of support.
I have had family and friends over there, presently and in the past....thanks for what you do!

Erik... you can always take off the option for anonymous comments... but like stacy, I too, have had some really unforgivable comments on my blog and I just erase them (although I will usually leave my response up)

They just don't have a clue. I may not be happy that the hubby is going over, but you it's his job. This is what he does. You guys are brave and you do protect us.
Look at all the Al Queda heads that have been captured. It's not a perfect world. I dont' know what the answer is, but my suggestion to everyone is to vote!
