Cool!
Something occured this morning that does not happen that often here this time of year! It is possibly an effect of the ozone hole that is killing the world! The cause of global warming that is gonna kill everything else!
What is this world coming to, it makes me feel like joining PETA, GreenPeace, and The freaks in Cal. that want to save the desert tortoise!
First of all, I am totally kidding, but we had CLOUDS over Baghdad today for the FIRST time in 4 months! Now granted they were thin clouds, but I was just talking to Curt about this last week. I said when is the last time you saw 1 little cloud in the sky? Now I like to follow weather, and I have looked for clouds. Believe me, you know if you ever worked for a job that did ANY work outside you learn that in the morning some days you just hope that it is raining out! Well, for the first couple months I would look outside here to see if it was raining out! Well, some days it was, but then came March! Have not seen a drop here since! We have not had 1 cloud since APR so this sun(which I love) gets repetetive and boring! If I was by an Ocean it would be better, or a lake I could swim in that would be fine!
Thought I would show you the big news of the cloud!(It was to me)!
On another front thoughts got out to the 19 Marines killed near Haditha out west the past couple days! We are all united, and that has been important that we remember EVERYONE regardless of service!
I know if I have left a comment on your sites the past couple days, I have been a a bit hyper, so if I made a joke, that is just me, and take it as a sign of respect! Not that I am so hyper, but it is better to be a little giddy than in a bad mood!

Btw: I sent my son over to check out your site. He really enjoyed it. Loved your pictures. He was in the A/F but was discharged due to medical. He had blown his knee out for the third time during boot camp. He was devastated to have to leave. But they didn't give him a choice. As his mom,I wasn't. :)

Then again, Seattle hasn't exactly been cloudy a lot lately - which is a bit weird. But even our hottest days would feel cool to you right now, I'm betting.
I know that giddy, have to joke, feeling - we all have to deal as we can. I feel horribly sorry for the families of all the marines, and my heart goes out to all the other Marines in their units -- they will suck it up and drive on ... but it's gotta hurt.
Hey you're seeing beauty in the simpler things in life! You have a beautiful family, I just had a March baby myself. It must be difficult to be away from family so every oppurtunity you have for enjoyment...take it! Stay safe.
