April Shah tagged me yesterday and I have to respond to it I guess!
So, I will, but at the end.
I took a picture this morning with me in the lovely Baghdad sunlight, drinking some Caribou Coffee Costa Rica blend sent from Martha C.!

And since I am her and pretty much the only coffee drinker in my team, at least for the past month, I tend not to go out and enjoy the beautiful morning! So this morning I did, as a few of us used to hang out with coffee in the morning!
SPC Elise Jenson(formerly Ernst) , and Curt, used to hang out there in the morning, since Elise used to guzzle 8 pots of coffee a day! So, being that she was my soldier, she would stay up very late and just drink coffee, and I don't know how she even got to sleep at night! But it did not affect her in the least during the day! I will put a picture up of her and her mentor! (Self proclaimed I might add!) But Elise, you know your one of the few we miss here right!
OK April, here is my tagwork! This is a lot to digest!
What I remember about 10 years ago?- Good one, since that is the year I got married to my sexy, sexy, bonermaking wife!
5 years ago?- I think I lived in Coon Rapids MN, and was about to start quit my real job for AFLAC insurance agent!
1 year ago?- Oh man, I was getting ready for the kids to go back to school, and I was wondering of I should go back to work during the day!
Yesterday?- I remember that I missed my wife totally, in fact, I miss her so much, that it really makes me sad! She has been sending me a lot of pictures lately and I think she looks so HOT!
It really affects me!
5 snacks I like?- Cheese curls! Snickers bars! Reeses PB cups! Peanut M&M's! Nachos!
5 songs I know the words to?- Thank you for loving me(Bon Jovi) From this moment(Shania Twain) In this Skin( Jessica Simpson) Anything from Motley Crue! That equals more than 5
5 things I would do with $100 million dollars?- Give $50 million to WORTHWILE charities!
then buy some houses in choice areas, sit on the patio drinking some type of cocktail, and forget about a lot of things, and people I didn't have to please anymore! Get a nanny, so I could have that person watch the kids, so my wife and I could hit it anytime we wanted! Then I would do volunteer work, or start a foundation that would care, and wouldn't be just a resumebuilder , and do some good! Or since I am watching "Soul Plane" right now, maybe I would buy a company and truly make it about the friendliness.
5 places I would run away to?- Under the covers with my wife! To the carribean with my wife? To Florida with my wife and kids! Axl's Bonfire with my wife and kids! Anywhere as long as it was with my wife and kids!
5 biggest joys?- These dates November 11th, 1995......April 28th, 1996.....July 23rd, 1997.....
March 8th, 2005......and the day I get home from here!
5 favorite T.V. shows?- King of Queens, Newlyweds, The Apprentice, Las Vegas, and Any Minnesota Sports!
5 people I tag?- My favorites of all time, and sorry you'll be mad, but tough!

Good to know that your friend Curt will be back today - may God grant him safe journey. I agree that being anywhere with your family is the best place to be...currently I am trying to figure out how to make that happen for our family ...and you are counting the days til it DOES happen. Prayers will be rising without ceasing for Noah and for all those serving in harm's way.

I love the morning coffee photo... I wanted to walk out on my deck this morning but didn't because;
1) It was too chilly
2) I was wearing some short gray pajama shorts with a brown tank top... and that's all. I don't want to have neighbors oogling or poking fun. ;)
So? I am sipping from inside the confines of the house.

OH! That tag thing. Yeah, Yankeebob or someone tagged me for that about 1-2 months ago. I thought it was too long, too many questions and I didn't want to play. LOL. I think I picked just a couple of them to answer so I 'kind of' played but of course bent the rules to MY specifications.
I do that alot. I only follow rules that make sense. ;)
Great post today. Erik - I think that we may not live too far apart and I just wanted to let you know that if there is anything your wife or children ever need. LET ME KNOW. I will help her out any way I can. And, when you get home, I'll be your "nanny" occassionally so you can take your hot wife out! I am completely serious about this. Let me know what I can do to help.
I'm thinking that I will have to replicate that throne in my mater bathroom when we uild our house. Nothing says class like a glutonous throne for a Numero Deux.
Noah is in our thoughts.
Also, I've never had a brother, so thanks...I will post my response soon! :)
Cool Erik! You sound like you are longing for your lovely wife, just as much as she is longing for you. Watch out MN, fireworks are going to becoming your way, when Erik the soldier gets home from Iraq, so alert the fire department. Stay safe Erik. God bless.
