Writes and Rituals!

Here we are on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and I have carbo sludge going on!
For those that don't know what carbo sludge is, you probably do, but I use wierd words so it just is the fact that I had a Triple Mocha Frappicino, sub sand., Snickers bar, 2 Chocolate turtles, Reeses PB cup, and now I am sludged out! Meaning LAZY!!! Well, it's all that and read the paper for me!
But, it is Sunday, and you are suppose to feel like this on Sundays right?
So we are watching the coverage of the overatted hurricane Rita, and thank god for that! Galveston is OK!
Without any further ado I think I will get into my Sider bites!
-Is anyone that uses Blogpatrol frustrated that it has been down? I mean it is free and is trying to be better, but it has not been keeping track of of my hits while it has been down, and it had said it would still be keeping track! Well, even though I had 14 comments Fri., Blogpatrol said I have NO hits! Oh well, it seems to be back up now, and what am I gonna do anyways? Ask for my money back?
- Just came to the realization that I missed a whole Minnesota summer, and will get bck in the winter. Dang!
-As for the controversey of the comment the other day that someone said my voice is hot, and I guess I was hot! Well, here's the thing, and I want to address this right now! I have a wife like no other! I Love her with ALL my heart! We are partners, we are best friends, we are a team! It's just that simple, so when things like that are said EVER, either in person, or online, about me, I don't pay it any attention. Sure, some would say "You should be flattered" and well, I mean, I don't get mad, but let's be honest, for every person that thinks you have positive attributes, just as many think you look like a train wreck! And I understand what it feels like to be my wife, probably to see comments like that, so I won't downplay it! I mean, I'm not Brad Pitt, in the words of Jennifer Aniston, who has a "Sensitivity Chip" missing! I don't take myself that seriously!
-Alright, just got a box from North Dakota State University student government, addressed to Curt, 1SG, and I. Got some cool little Bison hankies, but for me, I don't know what to think. After all this is the University that after I got off Active duty in the early 90's, drug me along and told me I was gonna get accepted and I joined NG unit in Moorhead, so I could be close to my then girlfriend, and then at the week before I got out of the Army, they sent the letter saying I was REJECTED! My response? Dudes, YOU ARE NDSU! Who doesn't get accepted there? Well, I guess ME! Yeah, Yeah, my 1.85 GPA in high school didn't help things, in fact that was the ONLY thing that hurt me! I mean, that is one of the reasons I went in the military! Oh well, and no offense to Jennifer Thompson(my then girlfriend), but coming back to the cities, and joining the guard unit down there, is where I immediatly met Missy, so as they say, things happen for a reason, and things are all clarified with time! Jen has a great husband and kids these days, and so do I. I mean I have a wife and kids! I just thought it was funny that the student government sent those things! I LOVE THEM THOUGH!
-You know, keeping on this theme of my wife, I also got a package from her that had these Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies that are the best I ever had! I mean, I am finding out that her being a stay at home mom is enabling me to see she is one of the best cooks ever. She will deny that, but let me say that, when she sends cookies, I set them out, and I barely get any, because everyone says they are the best ever!
-Does anyone else like Suze Orman, cause I love her advice on money? BTW, has anyone else heard of a SingleFile mortgage? She talks highly of it!
-I think I will update my Love from the Latrine site so go check it out!
OK, everyone enjoy their Sundays, and hopefully all your teams win, because mine probably won't! Vikes play the Saints at the Dome! We'll see, but since the Gophers won, I really don't care about the if the Vikes win! I think also I will limit my verbal post to a couple a week, just because I ramble so frickin much! Have a GREAT Sunday, and take care!
Later,
Erik

I love a good sugar buzz. Have a good Sunday Erik.
Great pictures Erik. Hope you have a great Sunday, and who knows maybe your team will win.
Stay Safe.
Good Morning!
I knew your wife would cure that oatmeal chocolate chip craving you had. *wink*
You DID miss a Minnesota summer, but... then again, so did I. Sigh. I did get up there for that brief weekend and that will have to suffice for me.
I am enjoying a beautiful Autumn now... although I am a reptile of sorts and am cold blooded so seeing 99 degrees on the weather bar to the side and seeing the sun in your photos looks heavenly to me as well and will ESPECIALLY look good come February! *wink*
Man - I thought your "carb sludge" was referring to the remnants in the toilet after that rundown of your dietary input. AND - I have a feeling that IS what you were really referring to!!
I was going to say that I miss you all, but honestly - I only miss you, curt and the LTC. Hope that gave you a chuckle!!
OH!! And we have a great bakery just down the street from my house, I am going to see if I can express mail a loaf of their peanut butter chocolate chip bread to ya'. Anybody got any rips on how I should package it?? I was thinking vacumn pack, but let me know if you or curt have received other baked goodies that tasted as fresh as could be!
about the "hot voice" topic... well said and, exactly.
Nice pictures...SUGAR BUZZZ!
We moved here in January. By March I was beginning to think that it snowed year round in beautiful Wisconsin...I feel your pain in returning during the winter.
Looks like you and Missy will have to cuddle up to keep warm upon your return! :) (wooowoooo!)
Enjoyed a lot! »
Best regards from NY! » »
