Snake Bites!

Waiting for the 1SG to run his PT test!
OK, THIS is the last Surgeon Cell photo yesterday!
A full post full of SNAKE BITES(formerly Spider Bites)!!!!!!!!
- Of course, for me, as a fan I have to say that it was SWEET to see the Gophers beat Michigan yesterday for the Little Brown Jug! But, if it takes me being in Iraq for that to finally happen, then I don't care if they lose to the Wolverines EVERY year.
- No side effects from the flu shot yesterday. It must have helped to take 1000mg. of acetaminiphan before dinner. Arm is a little sore, but it feels good.
- Vikings are on bye this week, so that is pretty good, because they won't lose.
- Not that I care really about this years MLB playoffs, but I am GLAD the Red Sox got their butts whipped. Now I don't need to hear any Boston fans think that the world should care about the Red Sox.
- I heard it is cold in Minnesota after the heavy rains and the above normal September temps.
I have to say, the benefit of being in Iraq is that the weather is great! I could use a little bit of rain, but certainly won't complain.
- Well, I will put my very early endorsment in for our Governor, Tim Pawlenty, for reelection if he runs again(I assume he will). Both Mr. Pawlenty and his wife have been exemplary for their support of the troops from Minnesota AND their families. They go to almost EVERY single deployment ceremony, and they back up what they speak about. Missy and the kids will go to lunch at the governors mansion in Oct., as they are honoring babies born while the dads have been deployed!
- One of the big things here in the mid east is the Hooka Pipe, and for all you burnouts that like to smoke bud, NO, they use it to smoke tobacco. It smells pretty good, the flavors they use, but why would you use a huge water bong to smoke tobacco?
- Yeah, and the local Iraqi's, we have figured will be good at a lot of things. Mainly used car salesmen. I am telling you, you CANNOT get a deal on ANYTHING local here.
There is a lady at one of the shops that sells Dinar for 1,450 to 1 US Dollar ratio.
That is about market price for Dinar, HOWEVER, at the Bazaar, there is a guy that I asked what his exchange was, and he said 1,250 to $1. Duh, NOT a good deal. And even worse, some other guy was selling Dinar at a 3 to 1 ratio! Hmmmmm........ ANYONE who buys it from him please buy it from ME and I will retire. Not that they are all GOOD at it, but they are not afraid to use the old Capitolism game. One they coouldn't use before, but that is one thing that you can EASILY see they love here. CAPITOLISM!!!!!
Well, running short on Snake Bites, but it's Sunday and I am not suppose to think anyways!
Later,
Erik

Erik,
Glad the Gophers got the win yesterday - today is the 1st game of the season between Buffalo and Miami - a long rivalry behind that game. Quarterback controversy here in Buffalo - we'll see what happens.
Sounds like MN has a governor to be proud of and thankful for - not every state can say the same. How neat that Missy and the kids get to eat lunch with him - no doubt she would have rather been with you all these months instead of eating lunch with the Gov. It's still an honor though. I notice that you posted your blog really early today - isn't Sunday the day of rest?
Be blessed and stay safe.
Hate to correct ya', but it is CAPITALISM! hehehe! Just like I am sittin' in the same room with ya'!!
Another week down!
Need anything? Is it safe to send chocolate again??
Hey, you and the family can come eat at our mansion when you get home.;)
Glad to hear that your arm isn't too sore. I remember my shot from last year, it was my first flu shot and I was a little shocked at the soreness!
Happy Sunday!
Have you smoked a Hooka yet? I've always wanted to try one....have to put that on my list of things to do.
Stay Safe!
