Morning!

Well, for those of you who DON'T know, which would be no one but my family, I arrived in Minneapolis last night to the silly string and cheers of my family at the gate. Yes, I got out of Bliss on a pass, as the computers were still down, and I could not sit and wait for nothing any longer. I am on pass til Monday so I will fly back to El Paso Sunday, and probably spend 2 or 3 days and come back home.
It was great seeing the kids and Missy again, and needless to say, Mis and I made up for lost time all night! (Shhh, don't tell anyone!)
I am having a get together tonight for my family and I will get pictures of the homecoming since I didn't have the camera ready at the airport.
I flew through Phoenix, and was able to sit outside in the great weather there for lunch! Thanks to LTC Spear for getting me to the airport and outta there yesterday, I have no idea if they got out of there or are going to today or wait til next week! I saw MAJ Joseph before I left, and ma'am, sorry I didn't say goodbye as I left right after I had seen you. Things happen THAT fast! I bypassed the rip off Northwest at $1450.00 RT, and went to America West at $250. Hmm, which one is bankrupt?
Either way, I am happy to be home, and was surprised by the cool thing of our spare bedroom downstairs being FINISHED! Holy CRAP! That was a surprise for sure! Thanks to all that helped, and dad, thanks for all the stuff you have done handy wise! Looks GREAT!!!!!!
I will update the homecoming more as it happens!
Later,
Erik

$1450.00!!!! Holy cow! You would have had to head to the pawn shop and sell some family jewelry . . . like the old days.
