Almost home!

OK, so earlier in the week, I was about to jump off the ledge becasue of the weather in MB, but it got a lot better. We had a good time nonetheless, and although we will remind ourselves next time BEFORE we bring a 1 year old along for the ride, we got through it. We did end up taking Kendall in to a clinic down there and sure enough she had an ear infection. She got better, but she is not a traveller and is a homebody.
Yes, Meritt and Heather, the Dolphins were right close to shore, and the beaches are great there. Broadway at the beach is awesome and we waited 2 hours at Margaritaville to eat for our 40 minute wait and being that we really wanted to eat there, we ditched and settled for Taco Bell in the room. either way the trip home was faster than the trip back for onc, and after staying in Kentucky last night, we managed to get here to Madison Wisconsin before making the 4 hours leg to the Twin Cities tommorrow!
I am sure I will update then, and hopefully everyone is hahving a great spring weekend.
Oh, and I guess we cheated daylight savings, going back to Cental time already adjusted to Eastern time zone!
And if I didn't have to remind people that chicago sucks as far as traffic even on Saturdays! I will never learn!
Later,
Erik

Sounds like you had a lot of fun. LOL Anytime spent with the family is fun.
Springtime is in the air and so is Dan's redeployment.

Chicago traffic sucks at 3 AM on a Sunday.

Rush-hour lasts 24/7.

Sounds like fun though! I'm envious of the R&R!

You just need to travel MORE and make sure Kendall gets 'used' to it. (and start the next baby RIGHT AWAY with the long distance travel...). ;)

But then again, 1 year olds don't like long travel anyway since they are stuck in their car seats for so long. LOL.
