Picture update!

So as you can tell I am lazy with my typing updates casue I have been typing a lot at work , and phoning them in is easier and faster for me lately, plus I have enough pics to update.
I will start from the bottom and work my way up by saying that we are complete with the Connerys basement except for the sanding and painting. I am happy to help and Pete called me this morning from Iraq and it was great to talk to him about being a war hero. And also let him know that the basement is gonna be great when he gets home. He still doesn't check email, so Michelle prints the pics off my site and sends it to him in care packages. Either way the have been friends for a long time and I really have to say it was great to work on that type of thing for some great people. As the running joke went while we worked we said when something was not measured but guessed! "Whatever, it's not MY house", and even Michelle started saying it, so I guess we know who wears the ACU's in the family. But he is in Iraq, so as long as the sheetrock stays attached to the walls til he gets home, I am fine with that!
So also tonight Madison came running into the house yelling "Dad, Hunter is hurt" so I ran like crazy to go see his latest skateboarding mishap, and he tries to be Tony Hawk too much and gets these bumps and bruises after going off the driveway retaining wall. Yeah, after awhile he let me take pictures of his butt marks(For the record, he says, it is not his butt)
So that is what we have to go through when he decides to hot shot around, but he is good and I would much prefer a little blood than a lot, or broken limbs!

P.S. Also notice my our Azaleas are blooming on the other side of the air conditioner in the first picture. This is Minnesota, and it is a southern plant but the folks before us planted them cause they were from NC. It is tricky to keep them healthy in the northern climate, but I love a little bit of the south up north, NATURALLY!
