Random thoughts.....

It isn't a long one. Life(and death) goes on!
He won't be the 1st and won't be the last. At least it is being portrayed in a positive light by the media. It is good he is gone.

I am at ripley this weekend, so this post will have to do for now, until Monday, but all ya all have a great weekend!

Okay so I did an audio post on the way home fro work and it said it was completed, but evidently blogger is still having issues, or maybe I am!

Today I "unofficially" found out I was excepted into a different unit in the Minnesota Army National Guard and it will be a SSG slot in the Regional Training Institute(RTI) at Camp Ripley. So the unit I have been in for the past 13 years will be soon without SGT Holtan. That is cool and I applied for this instructor slot, and am VERY happy to have been chosen into it. I will be a medic intstructor so that will be fun!

Not too much other news, although I have been so busy at work ramping up for a PDHRA event this coming weekend at Camp Ripley, and in some ways can't wait til it's over.

On the home front, the kids are getting big, and we have this new 15X36 pool that we have in the backyard, the kids swim all the time. I told the kids before I went on deploment that when I got back I would get a pool, but at that time Missy was workin gand I meant a regular dig out the backyard pool but financially this $200 pool is just fine, but I can do 2 second laps in this one!
