A 3 hour tour!
Today our J1 section(personnel) for the state had a little rah rah cruise on the St. croix river out of Stillwater MN, mainly as a team building event. And for one thing, I can tell you for an event taking place on a work day and the fact you pretty much get paid to hangout and mingle, I never heard so many people say they didn't want to go to it ahead of time than I did the last couple days. Yes, you can't drink alcohol(in the military it just goes with these things I guess) I really don't care, and am not gonna drink in the middle of the day unless I am golfing. But it is not too bad for us to hang out on a beautiful sunny day on a paddle boat and get a free lunch.
I think it was pretty cool, or at least better than being at work.

No one ever takes me on one though.
bad day on the water beats the best day in the office, toss in the fact you get paid and dont have to do work. Where is the problem.

As a SAHM I don't get rah-rah cruises nor do I get a bonus...but I DO get to eat bon-bons all day...perhaps that's my bonus...?
OK how can I kill time at work when you dont update every day, or even every other day!
