The effects of deploying!

Yes, I know we're not the only family having to deal with deployment, and the issues that come with preparing for departure! Most of the people that have never been in this situation, I hope you will understand the day to day impact it has on my immediate family even before I go! I will post regularly before to kind of document it! My wife is pregnant and due in March, so I will most likely not be here for that blessed event! So, having my wife deal with those issues is hard in itself. If you add the Holiday hustle, the kids being on break, and my leaving not long after the new year, it is a lot to keep in mind!
We have our good and bad days, but there is a transition that has to be made mentally, for all of us, and physically for me. Even on this holiday it's always on our minds, and to know next year I won't be here for it! I have to remain physically fit to prepare for full-time military again. With it being VERY COLD now, I have to force myself on the treadmill, and lift even after all the holiday goodie time! Not that I don't, but this time of year in MN it's hard to grease up the joints when laziness of winter sets! Oh well! I'm not gonna cry about it!
Today wasn't the best for my wife, and she will kill me for reporting her bad days, but it's a reality! I thank the braintrust at Affinity Plus, her employer, for their support!
