Dang!!!!
Well, as I sit here in the Sheraton Grand DFW, and I am talking to my wife, I am sad that this is the last day of my leave, and it was a pretty joyful one! I was able to witness the birth of my beautiful daughter Kendall, and get to hang with Madison and Hunter, as well as see my beautiful wife Melissa! I have to say I am anxious to get back to Baghdad, and get this thing over with. I feel like when I hear about the things that the PDHA team is doing I want to get back and help. Whether they like it or not!Or whether I like it or not!
Anyways, I really am glad I get to get a dose of America, and I want to say that I think everybody in America should be glad they live in this country, and despite the political games that are played we still have the greatet country ever! Sometimes I used to think our country was going to hell, and we do have bad apples, but we have it great, even in MN winters, which I still will complain about. But we hae the best school facilities, houses, PLUMBING, and FREEDOM! I head on over tommorrow sometime, so I don't know when I will post next, but it will be ASAP! Hopefully I'll get off the schneid as far as updating these posts, but when I was home posting would have been the same old thing everyday! For everybody I got a chance to talk to, and see it was good to catch up, and for those of you I blew off, I wasn't blowing you off, I just wanted to spend quality time with Kendall and the family!
Later,
Erik
