Sunday jottings!
I wanna say that when I am at home, the first thing I do is get a fresh cup of coffee and then go to the front door and get paper, lay on the living room floor and read the whole dang thing. Especially on Sundays when my wife sits and reads it with me, and the kids go through the ads and tell me what they want from the stores!
Well, my wife says he misses that also, but I am a sucker for columnists that have jottings. You know, little tidbits, with rumors, and worthless info. I find them very entertaining!
So what I am gonna do is every Sunday that I can, I am going to write my own jottings! Here goes!
-Is it me or does everybody else think its weird so many people are getting eaten by sharks in Florida?
-I guess Saddam got attacked in his courtroom proceding on Friday!
Is that a bad thing?
-I am glad Randy Moss is no longer on the Vikings! I don't care if they are worse!
-I am glad Red McCombs is no longer the owner either!
-The Minnesota Twins are in a tailspin!
-Camp Doha n Kuwait is closing VERY soon! Good riddance to a dirty piece of garbage!
-I want the 2nd season of Las Vegas to come out on DVD!
-One of the best things I did after I quit being an AFLAC insurance agent was to start buying the stock!
-Things you learn about people from NC after they leave theater and how they were fake, disturb the heck out of me.
Especially when you were their leader.
-Do you think liquid handsoap will work in the wash machine? Too late anyways!
-Do I miss my wife something fierce?
No bout adout it!
-I am gonna be here for the next month with only me and 1st Sgt.
-If I ran for ANY public office, would ANYONE besides my family vote for me?
Well, that is all I have for today, and believe me, as I was walking down to the DFAC I had tons of stuff that I was going to put out, but once I had finished my dirty rice, mac & cheese, and ribs, I went totally blank!
2 of those NC people I was talking about yesterday are going to BIAP and might be on a fight out of here today! How did we get so lucky? Curt did not even shake one of those dudes hands! Curt WILL NOT end up being a politician, I can tell you that much!

I like this post Erik. Gives us something a little different. I am sure that your wife and kids do miss these Sunday morning. Hopefully it won't be too much longer and you can be back home with them enjoying Sunday mornings. Hope you have a good day. Stay Safe.
I saw on the news were Saddam had a fist fight. What a scream! Saddam was on the other end of getting a beating.

Sunday mornings like that would be wonderful... except my husband is retail management so he works most weekends and it's just another day. We don't 'do' weekends here. Which is sad, really. He may have a Tuesday and a Saturday off one week, and a Thursday and Monday off the next.
But the ideal Sunday morning you painted was nice. :)
Dude - the Florida thing is SOOOO easy to explain (and you know - I'm right when I tell you this). The reason so many people are getting bitten is 1) because they just finished eating like 15 of those yummy funnel cakes at Disney World and the sharks are pissed that nobody thought to bring them any, AND 2)it's just god's way of helping the world population with it's obeisity problem. So there.
AND YES - I WOULD VOTE FOR YOU & I WOULD MAKE OTHER PEOPLE TOO! Because - "I'm right"

Thanks for wishing that I would come home soon! And I guess I never really have said when I will go home have I? Well I am scheduled to leave Iraq November 27th, and then I go to Kuwait probably then Ft. Bliss again, then home, as it stands now! We'll see though! And now that I have spent my day up here at the office I will go down and piss Curt off because his stomach hurts, and hopefully he will put it back in his pants when I open the door!
We always yell "Put your pants back on" as we are walking up the stairs to our room!
That reminds me I have a vivid disturbing dream I had the other night I need to post about Tune in this week for nastiness! I wanna puke! And it is not a gay dream, so don't worry!

Hello Erik, thanks for coming by my blog. I like your Sunday posts. As for the whole FL. shark thing, they have always had more attacks then anywhere else in the world. FL. is the tourists capital of the world and with so many people in the water well you know the odds are someone will get bit.

Actually, in Feb. when 1st Cav was here, one of the guys was related to Starbucks brass and they sent unlimited coffee to then and coffee makers. AH, the good ol days!

I def think it's odd that so many people are eaten by sharks in Florida. We just went to the Outer Banks in NC and I would NOT step foot in the ocean because I was terrified of sharks! And BTW I have always loved the ocean, so I haven't always been a chicken.

As far as coming over to the sun, we don't know yet...I want to, but who knows if I am going to get to. We'll hopefully know sometime soon, hopefully before school starts so that I can withdraw from classes. My luck, just because I want to go, they won't take me and I will be one of the few left at Echo. Oh well, if that happens, just more time for me to get some leadership opportunities in.
