Tidbits!
I don't really have any new pics, and I need a little ego boost today, so this post might sound a little selfish, but I have my jottings that I can't wait til Sunday to do, because I have quite a few thoughts, and I am in a bitchy mood, and I don't want sympathy or anything, and I am not looking for attention, but every so often you let pissed off feelings overcome you and things build up!
Well, I try to keep a sense of humor, and I still have one today, but a couple of things stick out in my mind!
And I will mix them with my tidbits!
-What is the 3rd English word ending with "ngry" Angry, hungry, and then I don't know the other one!
-I also need to know names of prominent(famous) black women married to white men! And not Lenny Kravitz's mom, who was on the Jefferson's!
-Jamal Lewis from the Baltimore Ravens who actually was in jail during the off season complaining at training camp because the feds pressed charges against him for organizing a drug deal. He thinks they had it out for him! Your guilty dumbass! Maybe you should shut your mouth and run the football! You can go bankrupt also!
-As far as professional athletes, and being greedy, I used to get mad that they made that much $, but pro sports is a profit business, and I choose to watch it, but if the athletes want to make a billion $ then go for it, but NEVER complain it is not enough! And you have a family to feed(Latrell) Then you deserve to fail!
And go bankrupt!
-I am watching or have been watching to newer movies, in little bit to fall asleep! Wedding Crashers, and Fever Pitch!!! Wedding Crashers is SO frickin funny, I love both those guys!
Fever Pitch is good as well, but I hate the Red Sox! Drew Barrymore is good in it though! And the dude from Sat. night live tries too hard to be like somebody else I know! I can't figure it out though!
-Why would I EVER buy a DVD again that is regular price when you can buy a Haji vendor movie, and while illegal in the states, is $2-$3 here! Most have 3 or 4 movies on them! Yes, some of the new releases are sketchy copoies, but hey, I am watching Wedding Crashers on DVD already!
I know it is funny when I can hear the audience laugh in the theater they are taping it from! I can also hear the guy taping it cough!
-I am S.O. dissapointed with a friend who used to work with my wife! But, I have found out in the process of being deployed that some of people I knew where my wife worked are just excelent people! Thanks for the support of my family, even now. It is the way it should be! People you work with can follow your example!
-Oh man, the mouse trap just went off, and I got one! I feel a little bad, but listen, they have disease! Poors thing had his eyes pop out of his head! And I did go show it to MAJ Joseph and now she won't touch door handles cause I did! She is Preventative Med., so that is her thing! Germs, or prevention of!
-Right now, the 1SG is falling asleep while he is making a phone call!
-Why don't the people that LOVE to get deployed in the National Guard join the Regular Army, so they can quit ruining it for the rest of us that don't LOVE it! Here is the thing with ANY Minnesota troop that is about to be deployed and is excited for it! THIS IS NOT BOSNIA OR KOSOVO! Poeple die here, for REAL!!!!! And if you love serving your country more than your family then to you I say you don't deserve them! There are plenty of those people!
-I look back at my spelling in some posts, and I think I must have been drunk! I wish I would have been! I think I would like to this evening have a nice glass of E&J VSOP brandy with some ice and that is it!

You go soldier. Who else is there to throw a bitch at, but the blogosphere. I must say ditto. Those things irritate me, also...Especially, the druggy sport's stars. They are over paid. Our country has things ass backwards when it comes to the pay scale. I think the military deserves a million bucks, when a trooper is in a war zone. They lay their lives on the line all the time 24-7. I think school teachers deserve a million buck. The way some of the kids are today, that isn't even enough. They lay their lives on the line form 8-4...9 months out of the year.
I too go back and read comments and look at spelling and think,my goodness, I sound like and spell like a moron, but who cares, I'm old and I have oldheimers. That is the one thing, when you get pass fifty, you can always use age as an excuse.LOL Take Care Erik...You sound bored. Curt will be back soon. Have a nice day.

Just thought I'd say hi and see what you were up to! You have every right to have a bitch session...gotta get things off your chest! :)
Yeah, I am one of those MN people that want to be deployed..can you forgive me? :) I just don't have anyone here that I need to worry about right now, being childless and single :) I do however agree with you on the issue of if you have family and responsibilities back home, you need to be there, not in the sandbox. I know for me, it wouldn't be a burden, other than withdrawing from school. Don't get me wrong, I am scared, I am not one of those people that try and say that they aren't scared of war and the possiblity of dying. But for me, right now, this is what I want to do. Yeah, I probably should go active, but that isn't where my heart is. I love the Guard, and if every so often I get deployed, well, that is the risk you take these days being in any aspect of the military.
I love the fact that you are open, honest and blunt with your posts, don't stop! It is awesome! I think you are a great soldier and leader and hope that you stay safe.
Oh, and with the coffee..did you want whole beans or would you prefer it ground up before I sent it over??

Tiger-I like ground, we don't have a grinder, and I just want people that are coming over here, this is serious business here, and NOT Bosnia, or Kosovo. Pont being learn all you can when you guys are going through training, and DO NOT take it for granted. I know you won't, but the ones coming over seeking an "adventure" are in for an awakening! It is very humbling, and also gratifying, but NOTHING I would volunteer for in a deployment!
Everyone else- Just got off the phone with my lovely wife, and I needed to talk! I feel better!

Hey SGT Holtan! I just wanted to let you know I have been checking your web site periodically and haven't forgotten you guys. When I left I couldn't get out of there fast enough, the tension was building. I still haven't finished outprocessing, they were trying to make me sale my leave and I refused. So now I'm on hold (at home) waiting for them to extend my orders. Hopefully I'll know something by Friday. I just wanted to say hey and if you want a bottle of that brandy just let me know. Everyone needs to vent now & then - so go for it! Glad you got to talk to your wife, sometimes being able to hear the voice of someone we love is all we really need when we are having a bad day.

I guess you have a few things on your mind. It is good to jot them down - we all get a glimse of how wize you are, but the bad part is that I have a lot more to ponder here. I don't have time for all of that. Plus I don't watch any sports on TV. Can you believe I wanted to be a phy ed teacher. Well at least I have the butt for it now! (ha ha ha) I hope you don't wish bankrupcy on everybody. Samantha's birthday is on Saturday, even though she has been saying she is five since we had her birthday along with Hunter. Your pictures are great - the sandstorm shots are amazing.

Tammy- As far as wishing bankruptcy on someone, if you don't appreciate the $ you have then you don't deserve it in the first place! Especially an athlete that complains about not having enough! So YES, if that is what their brain thinks, they need a little humbling! I will email Samantha, Missy told me it was my favorite God daughters birthday!
MAJ B again!- Justin did stop over here a couple days ago to put some pictures online! He has come over here a couple times on his own!
He told me he was promoted! So that is cool! I tried to get a little dirt on you, but he wasn't budging! That's OK, because remember the beach in Honduras, with the Jack, and Rum, and Vodka mixed into that coconut, and ingested! Oh yeah, I don't either!
