Yes Ma'am!!!!!
We are in the midst of the worst sandstorm I have seen since we got here! Actually there was a worse one but that was a night and you couldn't see anyways! But I woke up this morning and the room was ORANGE, so I knew there was a sandstorm outside! Either that or all the trailers were on fire. Know it wasn't the fire, so I looked outside and COOL! I could not see ANYTHING! The difference with this storm is that it is windy, and so if you have ever been in a blizzard and can't open your eyes because it hurts!
So anyways, this type of weather really does affect the upper resperitory system and it is the first time I had to put something on my face to filter the junk! Thankfully my brother John had given me a sleep mask when I was home on leave, and I knew I would use it sometime, and not a better day than to be my breathing filter! Look at my Flickr pics and I have lots of sandstorm pics, and 2 pics my wife sent me of the kids!
It feels kind of like a snowday for you all from the north! And MAJ Joseph who is in this picture is my homie! (I'm dead now) I am always clearing the path for her to walk. I would talk about our conversation last night about "A Diary of A Mad Black Woman-The Play" but then that would be a whole can of worms opening. She thinks I bad mouth people on my site unfairly, because they can't defend themselves. And while I DO take advantage of the public nature of the blog, if you did something to make me say something about you, then you deserve it. And everyone can defend themself, and I will never just GO OFF on somebody, it has to have built up over time! And then anyone can comment or email, but too often, I have solid points, and people really can't prove me wrong. I like when they try though, cause then I can just solidify my side! Well, it is only 87 degrees outside, and for noon that is cool, and it feels actually really nice out, so I do think the storms have their advantages. Been a bit lazy on commenting on other peoples posts, so I will get back to that today! Have a great day!
Later, Erik

wow, what a wonderful thing to wake up to! NOT! Hey, at least the trailers weren't on fire. Michelle says that those sand storms can get pretty bad over there. I am glad that there are no sandstorms here in ohio where i live. Just insane snowstorms, like the one in December, that was NUTS! ANyways, thanks for leaving a comment on my site! I decided to return the favor! Take care and stay away from those yucky sand storms! And Gekkos! LOL
Can you say microdermabrasion? I bet your skin is soooo soft after getting blasted with that sand! LOL
Man, that is some nasty looking stuff. Anyone you slam on your site has every oppotunity to defend themselves. All they have to do is start their own blog or leave comments on yours. HI MAJOR:).
Holy sandstorm Batman! Make sure you keep those peepers covered too lest you be redered blind by the tiny flying sand particles!
Ummmm, are you going to make a sandman? As I understand it you guys have lots of extra hard candy. Just lick pieces and stick on for eyes, nose, mouth and buttons. It would do Martha proud.
I can't believe you called an officer your 'Homey' -- dude, you are so dead!
What an interesting, if icky, look - everything is painted orange. I bet the stuff gets into every opening ... ewww.
BTW - If you do find and kiss Jenna's hubby ... we want pics!
Katy,
Are you trying to suck up to the major? I already tried, believe me, she doesn't fall for charm anymore! Now I am really dead!
April's right - at least the trailers weren't on fire. Find some protection for the eyes too! Snow may be bright, but at least it doesn't sting the eyes! Have a safe day! BTW - went through your flicker photos - your kids are so cute!
This site is awesome...can I link it to mine...please, please, please????
Um, there is no such thing as unfair critizism on someone. If you go off on them, I'm sure they deserve it! Why else would you take the time?
Oh my gosh! That picture with all the sand in the air...it makes me want to gasp for fresh oxygen.
Take care, Erik!
When I saw in the news there was a huge sandstorm there, what was my very very first thought? You got it. 'Go check Erik's blog!'
Sure enough you didn't disappoint. :)
Sorry you have to be in it - but... how cool!
