Get back to work!

Yeah, now summer is over, and don't deny it, the BBQ's, and parades, and charades that make a good ol USA summer are over, and now starts the season we call FOOTBALL season!

Spider Bites today:

-LTC Spear brings up his used sheets from "Life's Little Instruction Calendar!"
I think half of them are GREAT, for instance, I love and save this one. "Don't be surprised when talent is overwhelmed by tenacity!" Tru Dat, Tru Dat!
But, I think they ran out of ideas, for example "To motivate someone, ignite her hope for a brighter future!" True, but cmon, that is corny, and if someone told that to me, I would laugh!

-I have a friend in Germany who used to be my Platoon Leader in Minnesota, and even though she was a sucky platoon leader, she is a good friend. (Kidding Jenna, totally kidding!)
Anyways, she met the man of her dreams and moved to Germany where he is stationed, and she has a blog site as well, and I gotta get some traffic over there, because she gets around, and has great pictures. (I don't mean gets around, because she seems VERY happy with her soon to be fiance!) But she's cool, and I think some of you will enjoy her! GO HERE NOW!

-I gotta thank Kathy P. for keeping on sending the magazines from her library!
I love magazines, and I have been sending them all over country, so Kathy, you are helping the troops! Thanks aunt-in-law! Oh, and thanks for the Hot Tamales, and Good'n'Plenties!

-In an effort to help out the situation in the Huricane raveged areas of the US, some units here, including myself, are diverting our care packages to that area. So I would request that if you planned on donating necessities(toiletries, etc.) to the troops, that you find a contact and send those things to help out that region! Don't get me wrong, we love care packages, but there are people that need them more than us! We'll be alright! We are prepared to live without, those people affected are not! We'll take homeade cookies from Merrit though still!
If your loved one here needs here email me and I will take care of them!

-Oh, I do have an idea for people to send over here! I know a lot of people have music on their computer, well, if you just filled disks with good 80's rock and sent it! We share ALL out music over here, but I can't get on music sites even to buy new music! But if I buy a cd I then give it to someone else, after I put it on the computer! Just a thought!

-I guess I swore the other day on my site! I don't think Biatc* counts, but my wife said it did!
I owed my daughter a dollar, but we became even after she told me she talked back to my wife!
At least we are both aware of what were doing! And we try to improve. and for that I will give Madison credit!

-It was BEAUTIFUL this morning, actually about 75 degrees, and almost felt a bit cool!
Weird, because we aren't used to it, but it just was great to feel less than 80 degrees!
It still is over 100 today, but we love the weather right now!

-Curt just farted!
