Army vs. Navy

Today is the game that if you are on an active duty post is much bigger than I remember, but the Army/Navy game is today, and even though they are not that good, it is a big rivalry. We have everyone over in the room to watch so were excited.(Actually, I went out to run my 3 miles, and LTC Spear went to breakfast and brought back everyone else.) I guess I will have to not get away for another day!
Anyways, last night we went out to dinner at the State Line BBQ. I guess it was NOT the same place as I had the Jalepeno last year. It was on the western border of New Mexico. See El Paso is kind of on the tri border of Mexico, NEW Mexico, and Texas, so you can get to either one in minutes. So the State Line is on the border of New Mexico and Texas, and it was VERY good.
I had my first whiskeys in 8 months, and my buzz would have felt better if I was around my wife, but the atmosphere was good, so I will take it. Mix my cold with a slight hangover this morning, and I NEEDED to go on my run this morning to sweat the toxins out!
Other than that, LTC Spear wants to go to Landry's seafood house tonight. Anyone been there? I have seen them in a lot of places, but never have been there. Today is a day of football, and I think after 2pm today, being that golf is only $2.50 I think I might walk the mile and a half to play a few holes. A bit windy here in El Paso today, but it is sunny and in the 70's and is REALLY nice being that I am from Minnesota, and it is December! So I will be like Sheryl Crow, and soak up the sun before I head to the frozen tundra next week, but I will bring some of that warmth home for my wife and kids.
