Fun Friday!!

Well, as fun as you can make it I guess when you are anxious to get home. We completed our Reverse SRP today, as far as Finance and Legal, and Medical, and all that is left is transition and transportation. Like most they don't work on weekends so we will have to wait til Monday to do that station. Yes, I would like to get home ASAP, but being that I have a cold still and jet lag, I will take this weekend to go to Jaurez and drink a lot of Tequila. KIDDING!
What a better way to decompress than to do something I have not done in awhile....GOLF!!
Today I went to the desert course here at Ft. Bliss after our appointments. The other had some appointments , so I went off on my own and golfed. Get this!! After 2pm it costs only $2.50 for however many holes you can get in. So I got 12 holes in, and decided to call it good, and walk back. Yeah, it was a couple miles back but I got a cart golfing, so I needed to walk. It was good decompression for sure.
I believe we are going to the State Line restaurant for dinner tonight, and if some of you recall in January that is where we went and I ate that extreme Jalepeno that had me burning up!
Not gonna do that tonight. Well, maybe a little one!
Other than that LTC Spear and I share this room at the Bliss Inn and we get along real well. We have the same temperament and are low key. So Curt and the 1SG are sharing the room at the barracks. They haven't killed each other yet! Maybe they're bonding.
The LTC and I are staying over here because over at that barracks there are some crazies that have been on Medical hold for awhile, and they go out at night and come in at 4am drunk, so we cannot sleep over there. This is much better for decompression and being that it is Ft. Bliss guest housing(Hotel) it is pretty cheep. They are fixing the pool so that is the only downfall! I know, you feel for me.
Oh well, off to call Mis and the kids and then off to dinner. Have a good start to the weekend!
