Cool!

Hey, I have to say my shilling for poeple to try out the Google adds seems to have picked up steam. I hae had some good click the past couple days.

For those who are not bloggers and don't know how the ads work, well every time you click on the adds it gives the site holder credit. It is a pretty cool program that is easy, but in the rules you are not suppose to just tell people to go click on them, or people would probably just have clickfests, and clickapaloozas or things like that. I know it has happened before because the ad company filed a thing against Google I believe because people were only clicking on ads and not buying anything. Well, the same way those companies are shilling for business, to me it is the same type of free enterprise and they choose to advertise on Google so and they know the stipulations. Well, Google seems to be doing OK and I don't think they are worried about making the next weeks payroll.
Before I went to Iraq I had 2 shares of Google stock, and bought them right at the IPO for $85 dollars per share, and then I know when I was in Iraq they were over $300 per share, but I had sold them at $125 before I left. Oh well, I only had 2 share so it wasn't like I was rolling in the dough, but I know some made millions so more power to them. That is America right?
Speaking of America, well, not really in U2 the band from Ireland I believe. In all honesty, I just do not find U2 great at all. But they have been winning Grammy's like they are Google stock. I don't really know why. Am I missing something? Not my cup of Irish coffee though!
Bono rubs me the wrong way, and in my humble opinion, ANY famous entertainer, unless they are going to run for political office themself should tone down the rhetoric. NOW, if they choose to live a very humble existance and give most of the money they make from us, to the causes they hold near and dear, I might give them a pass. Kanye West, who from what I hear is brilliant as a musician, should shut his piehole about the President, and keep to singing. Or rapping, whatever he does.
You know the movie Ron Burgandy? I Love It! But, when Tim Robbins had a cameo it almost ruined it for me. Him and his love Sue Sarandon.
Run for office and I will shut MY piehole. Well, I guess they would probably get elected in California, so don't run for office, and keep your eyes on the movie scripts.
Hey, Jesse did it here, and I liked him before he took himself too seriously, he had decent ideas, but it didn't quite work out the way it could have. Gopher from Love Boat in Iowa, Arnold in Cali!
Who else, Fred Thompson from Tennessee I believe. Whether I like them or not, they stood up to the call and acted.
Hilary Clinton, I mean she has all those great memories of New York where she is a lifelong resident. Well at least umm.......the past couple years. She would probably move to another country to win elected office.
hey on the lighter side, I have put up pics of the new office area and also when I got to work this morning before the snow and later in the day when we got snow and I get to watch it snow!
Tommorrow is Self Portrait Friday............Oh wait we don't do that anymore, so I guess I don't need to bring my camera to work!
Maybe I will get some work done then!
