Played out!

Yeah, so I am still showing pics of my visit to DC, mainly casue the one with myself and COL Mercier would not upload til now, hence why it wasn't on the last post but here it is.
Also, as you can see, I tried to get into the White House, but they wouldn't let me in. Something about security, and things of that nature, so I just gave up on that dream.
You can see the AirForce 1 helicopter that the president takes over to Andrews, and it flew a lot when we were there, so that is cool to see.
The final pic is of us flying home and of course I am alwasy on teh wrong side of the plane to see what I nee to see, casue I wanted to get an overview of our house, which is right below the flight path to MPLS, but I did manage to get almost up too our house but looking over the Mighty Missisippi and into Hastings MN. Oh well, I know what it looks like, and can picture the area!
Well, pretty busy in the Holtan world, as this week was Vacation Bible School for the kids, and I went to a golf tournament today for the Minnesota Military Family Foundation, which of course was fun. I sure hope they raised good money for that cause.
Oh and word to the wise, if you have a crab apple tree in your yardand you rake the apples up as they fall as to not wreck your grass, and you put the discarded apples into the trash can.
Well, flies are liking those things, and if they sit in the trash can and lay eggs, in a couple days you have MAGGOTS in the dang thing! NASTY!!!! Well, at least the garbage man came today and must have about puked, but nest time I need to put them into a garbage bag after I pick them up! That is my tip for the week!
Missy is doing great and is almost 3 months or less away from popping Poskin out into the world, and the kids are enjoying the summer thus far. And if I thought the Barney craze was over, and a thing of the past, it is truly the ONLY thing Kendall likes to watch on TV, and she would sit there for days straight to watch Barney. Oh well, it keeps her occupied!
